Score
A study was conducted to examine the degree to which Room Color affects algebra learning.
There were three groups of students who took algebra during the same semester. One group met
for class in a yellow classroom, another group met in a red classroom, and the third group met in
a green classroom. Learning was measured by inspecting final exam scores. There were 30
students in each class, and the data are provided in a table on the next page.
Part I
Create an SPSS data file ready to be analyzed. You will find pages 122-124 in your textbook
to be very helpful with this.
Part II
Use SPSS [V25] to generate descriptive information about your data.
[After data entry: Analyze → Descriptive Statistics → Frequencies → [select variables] Statistics →
[select options] → Continue → OK]
It should go without saying, but to eliminate uncertainty, please DO YOUR OWN WORK!
